Thanks Tiffany! I always knew I wanted to do a sci-fi sports story, and I don't think it could have ever been anything other than a racer on two wheels π
All the claustrophobic little details! I just like dust being the enemy, for how eternally present it is. Also, describing how the dust will devour you and make you part of the moon. Good cosmic horror.
I love the detail of tapping the chairs in the ground! It grounded the setting and got me invested in the protagonist at the same time. Fantastic stuff!
I love that at the heart of this story is a racer on two wheels. Excellent work, Ian. I want to read more of this world.π€ππ©Άππ€

Thanks Ken! I'll be sharing more in the upcoming weeks, hope you dig where it heads.

Thank you for saying so!
This gives a whole new meaning to describing a trail as "moon dust." I love an underdog with something to prove!
Somehow, this perfect joke you just made did not pop out to me while I was writing it π€£
i hope you do return to this :)
Thank you! I almost certainly will, and until then it will continue to percolate somewhere in the back of my brain.
That regolith is nasty. Microscopic obsidian razor blades. Still a showstopper for lunar base plans!
Well TIL to call it regolith, thanks for that! I listened to a podcast a long time ago about living on the moon, the dust is a fascinating obstacle
