The Backstory

Since forever, I’ve loved stories. Short ones, tall ones, sad ones, happy ones. I really love ones that are trying to SAY SOMETHING, that are trying to grab your ear and scream “This is IMPORTANT”. I’ve always wanted to be that writer, but I need to start by being just a writer.

I’ve reached a part of my life where I’m tired of trying to be good when I start something new. It’s actually really okay to be bad at things, and to keep trying, and to be persistent. You’ll get it, I believe in you, pick yourself up and try again.

So this is me accepting that writing is a journey, it’s work, and I’m committing to it. You’re welcome to follow along.
